Christians are sometimes hesitant to share their faith in God because they feel people might feel uncomfortable or disapprove. We all have probably had times when we did not feel comfortable sharing the gospel with certain people.  We see the example of Peter and John's zeal for the Lord in the above Scripture, which was so strong they could not keep quiet, even when threatened.  They obeyed God, rather than man when told not to speak about Jesus.  This shows true faith in the Lord and a love for the Gospel.  They knew they had to share what the Lord had given them and had called them to be witnesses of his saving grace.  This is an example for us today.

If our courage for God has weakened, we can pray for our boldness to increase and claim his promise of power to witness by his Holy Spirit.. We can remember the promise of Jesus,  "if anyone publicly acknowledges me as his friend, I will openly acknowledge him as my friend before my father who is in Heaven."....Matthew 10: 32. 

There are many reasons why people fear witnessing for the Lord or problems they feel prevent them from being effective.  This is doubt and discouragement of Satan as he knows what one child of God can do when they share the plan of salvation.

Many times when we face problems , we can pray for God to remove it.  However, He may choose to leave the problem and give us the extra grace to deal with it.  He will always see us through. He cares and desires us to share his love with others as he watches over us.  May we desire more boldness and courage to witness faithfully for our Lord in this day and hour.  Only God can design and decorate a life as a new creation for his glory.  Share Jesus and share life.  A life filled with his love leads to a heavenly home above.
