Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. 10  Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.  11  And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands. 12  Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. 13  Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.  14  And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

(Psalm 90:1 KJV)  A Prayer of Moses the man of God. LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. 2  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. 3  Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. 4  For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. 5  Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. 6  In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. 7  For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. 8  Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. 9  For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. 10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. 11  Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. 12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. 13  Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. 14  O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. 15  Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. 16  Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. 17  And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

(Psa 19:1 KJV)    The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork. 2  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. 3  There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5  Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6  His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8  The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.  9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11  Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. 12  Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. 13  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

(Psa 20:1 KJV) The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;  2  Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3  Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. 4  Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.  5  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. 6  Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8  They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. 9  Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
