Some look for wealth and gold,

To bring happiness to their lives.
They never know the gold they have,
Is in their husbands or their wives

Many things are owned,
And look pretty on your shelf,
But all your pretty possessions,
Won't help fulfill yourself.

I have seen inside a rich mans eyes,
And as I searched within,
I found no love or joy,
No happiness in him.

The happiness that I have found,
Some could not believe,
For it lies within some callused hands,
That hold me tenderly.

I know those loving hands so well,
The way they feel to me,
The strength they give,
the warmth they bring,
No riches can compete.

So you can keep your wealth and gold,
Vast acres of all your land,
For none of this can compare at all,
With the love of my mechanics hands....

Heart & Soul,
