Friends are like gathering a bouquet.
As they are gathered along life's way.
Carefully chosen, each one with care,
In hopes they will always be there.
Through the times of sorrow and tears,
Those times will come through the years.
Always pulling together as best of chums.
Share and laugh, when good news comes.
A sweet smelling aroma, dear friends are,
Their sweet fragrance drifts from afar.
The aroma that emits from faithful friends
Is sent by God and comes on the wind.
Each one has their own special way.
And their uniqueness they do display.
Each is so loving, sweet, and kind,
And into my heart they are entwined.
Jesus has been so good to me
In choosing the friends He wanted to be
In my life, my heart, and in my prayers.
He knew who would be able to share.
Yes, He has chosen well for me,
On this He and I do agree.
The friends I have, I love so dearly,
And I say that from my heart, sincerely.
