Our Shepherd
What a privilege we have each day,
To go to Him in prayer.
A precious friend above all else,
And One who's always there.
Stronger than any obstacle,
That we could ever face.
Yet, like a gentle shepherd who,
Within His arms embrace.
He promised to never leave us,
By our side he will stay.
God always keeps His promises,
He's with us through each day.
When disappointments come our way,
And heartache we do feel,
Let's open up our hearts to Him,
And trust that He will heal.
As we travel down life's pathway,
Ask Him to go along.
Feel His sweet presence and the joy,
Of His love that's so strong.
