Sweet Dreams What a sweet journey I took last night The dreams I had were such a delight! I went down memory lane once again So many years, the dream did span.
The year we went to Papaw's in the sled When we got there our cheeks were so red! My smile seemed frozen on my face What fun, as through the snow we did race!
I dreamed of the goose that chased me that day She had babies and wanted me to stay away! I wanted to take one of them home with me, But with that plan she did not agree!
The year we built the snowman was such fun He melted so fast out there in the sun. Before it was over we got into a big snowball fight. We rolled and tumbled, and were quite a sight!
Bonfires and caroling were the things to do Church on Sunday and through the week too! Simple things and simple ways we had back then We learned about Jesus and how He died for our sin.
Sweet dreams of days long ago, How I yearn for hugs from those that I love so. That have gone on to be with our Lord, Living in heaven and already have their reward!
One day I will step in through heavens gates, And there my Jesus will be the first One I'll face! Then my loved ones I will see once more As we meet there with Jesus on heavens shore.
Melva 2~2~06(KJV) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
