The Master

I am with my God,
Each and every day,
It is for his guidance,
That I daily pray,



There is so much pain and sorrow,
Around each bend and turn,
So many here on earth,
Just getting set to burn.



Without my Lord and Master,
I don't know what I'd do,
But struggle hard and falter,
Just to see it through,



The sin and corruption,
Surrounding us like water,
What would we accomplish?
Without our heavenly Father.



So here I am on bended knee,
Asking once again,
For his gentle touch,
To help me to refrain,



So that I will never waver,
From my chosen path,
Will never have to fear,
Feeling hell's wrath.



I trust in him completely,
A faith that's always strong,
It is through him alone,
I cannot go wrong.
