THE MANOR
My quiet warriors sit
In green chairs with wheels,
Waging a silent war...
Watching, through windows,
The seasons come and go...
No one knows...
(For no one returns from
The front lines),
How much strength this war takes...
And they seem so weak...
....When life downs me,
I go there.
I sing a song....I touch...
I kiss and hug...
But most of all...
I receive...
For God has
Opened my eyes!
