He Knows My Heart
My Father knows me very well
And watches over me each day
When I am sleeping or awake
Whether in work or play
He knows my every movement
He knows my every thought,
He knows what I will do each day
Cause by grace my soul was bought
The price you ask, well that was free
Because I took Him in
believing Him to be my King
And trying to not sin
But sin will come into my life
Each day, I know it will
But by His blood, I found pardon
I know He paid the bill.
The price He paid was for mankind
His blood covered all our sins
What we do here will be the test
Of our journey, when life here ends
I am so proud to be a Christian
And carry His love in my heart
And know that one day later on
Of His kingdom, I will be part.
