Myself, my daughter in back, granddaughter in front.
All four of my children are here."
As I sit and watch children playing My mind wanders back in time When as a child I was there playing Romping as the small ones do so fine.

The freedom of life's problems The excitement of each precious minute The feeling of the sun and the rain. Thoughts of a timeless existence, with no limit.

Sometimes I wish those days to return, Feeing the excitement of each and every day Again to fill the air with laughter Now are hidden in the past, to stay.

But through my grandchildren I see it again Outside as they romp, play and run Whether kites, or balls or any kind of play As they laugh, they're having so much fun!

So through the years I had my time But life is still full of glee Cause on their little faces I see my blood run for eternity.
