Fielding had a daughter, Flora, whose mother was "a single woman of
McNairy Co.". Fielding legally adopted Flora and and made her his heir
in his will.

Sixth Tenn. Cavalry, a
he resigned his post 10 Dec 1864, citing poor health. He then practiced law
and was made a circuit judge.
Had one natural child who died from a
scalding accident.
Dropped from pension rolls 7 Jan 1897: pensioner
dead.
