The following are the descendents of these seven children.

2. Henry Peregoy, 2nd generation and 3rd child of Joseph and Sarah Munford Peregoy was born probably 1692, Baltimore Co., Md. died between 11 Feb. and 4th of June 1765; probably at Fredericksburg, Va. He married (1) 16 Feb 1716, St Paul's, Baltimore Co.,Md., Amy Green, date of birth unknown; died before 1745 and married (2) 14 Jan 1745, Providence Corbin, born 26 June 1727, daughter of Edward and Jane Corbin. He bought land in 1715 from tract called "Burman's Forest" on South side of Back River which he named "Success,"but he later moved to Frederickburg, Va.

Henry's will made reference to two daughters, "Mary, wife of Archibald Tracey/ Tracy.and another unnamed wife of William Brock." He also referred to "my other sons and daughters," but did not name nor say how many. Mr. H. H. Lee and other researchers attribute the following children to Henry and Amy: Ann, Henry Jr, Andrew, Joseph, Robert Pedigo, Edward "Ned" Pedigo, & Mary; Henry and Providence Corbin had one child named Mary.

3. Ann Peregoy born 25 Sept 1719; died 4 Nov 1745; probably

    Balti.,Co., Married William Brock.

3  Henry Peregoy, Jr.; born 29 Oct 1722; died 1802; Balti., Co.,

     Md., and left  a will. He married (1) Alice _______? in 1761;

believed to be the mother of 8 of his 9 children. He married

     (2nd) Mary? (Boring or Lemon)?

Possibly 1 child, Edward. His nine children:

     4.  John Peregoy, "1st Son", to receive" 1 dollar and no more"

as he had already been given land.

      4.   Keziah Peregoy, "Eldest daughter, 1 dollar and no more".

She was then wife of Jacob Cox, who died in 1804.

4   Prudence Peregoy, "2nd daughter, 1 dollar and no more."

She was born 13 Sept. 1753; died 8 Feb 1839; probably

in Huntington Co., Pa. She married 8 Feb 1770, to Thomas

           Stains, a Revolutionary soldier.

     4.   Moses Peregoy, " 2nd son, 1 dollar & no more."

brother, Henry Peregoy comes into his inheritance."

    4.    Edward Peregoy, "Son by 2nd wife, Providence Corbin;"

           given land

3.   Elisha Andrew Peregoy, born about 1724; (An Andrew Jr.,

married 21  June 1750 to Alice Edwards).

3.  Joseph Peregoy, son of Henry & Amy Green Peregoy, was

born about 1720 or earlier, according to Mr. H. H. Lee.

He died intestate before 27 March 1792; when an

administration account was rendered by his son,

      Joseph Peregoy.

Joseph married before 4/1759; (1st) Elizabeth Wheeler,

daughter of William J. Wheeler II; & Isabel Price; he

married (2nd) 13 Oct 1786;  Susannah Green.  William

Wheeler left a will in Baltimore Co., Md., dated 2 June 1764

proved 12 Jan 1767. He named (among 4 children)

        "daughter, Elizabeth Peregoy "

William Wheeler is said to be the son of a William Wheeler,

and a grandson of a John Wheeler. Joseph bought land from

William Wheeler on "North side of Western Run of Gunpowder

River,"which had been purchased by Wheeler from Abraham

       Vaughan, Namely:

24 Acres, part of "addition to Batchelor's Neck."

                   39 Acres, "Wheeler's Addition."

20 Acres, part of "Constant's Persuasion."

                   83 Acres Total.

In tax list of 1773, Joseph Perrygoe is listed in "Middle River

Upper Hundred" as head of house with William Perrygoe and

William Wheeler and 2 slaves, 5 taxable women omitted, but

you can may safely assume that Joseph's wife, Elizabeth, is

present. Joseph and Elizabeth had 10 children as per admini-

stration Account of 27 March 1792; Namely: Joseph, William,

Elisha, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Charles, Temperance, Constance,

Helena & James. Joseph and Susannah had one daughter named Amy.

      4.   Joseph Peregoy, (Jr) married (Lic.) 27 April 1785, Mary

Gorsch. She  was born about 1764; died 26 March 1785.

      4.  William Peregoy, son of Joseph & Elizabeth (Wheeler)

Peregoy, was born 24 July 1752 and died 1 Sept. 1820.

He was married 7 April 1776, to Henrietta Parks,

(daughter of William & Elenor Parks), born 22 May 1756

and died 1 Sept. 1820. William bought land from his father

            15 Oct 1787, a tract called "Union", 66 acres for L30.

This land touched on  "Constance's Persuasion.", one of

three parcels sold by William Wheeler, his grandfather,

to Joseph Peregoy, his father, in 1754. This was on "North

side of Western Run of Gunpowder Falls.

Without going into details here, it appears that this is now

flooded by the backed up waters of Loch Haven Dam. In

the 1798 Federal Assessment, William Perregoy was listed

in "Middle River Upper Hundred in possession of a tract

called "Union", now 96 acres and "5 old houses out of

       repair - 1 dwelling."

William died in 1820, intestate, and the division of his

estate dragged out over a decade, leaving very little

in the end result for his children, the petitioners. He

may have been the William Peregoy listed in British

Invasion of Maryland by William M. Marine as serving

in War of 1812, as "Gunner," Capt. Addison's Sea Fencibles"

as there were 2 contemporary  William Peregoys, it

remains unproven which was the "Gunner."

William & Henrietta were the parents of 9 children:

      5.    Elenor Peregoy, born 28 Sept 1777; married 18 Aug

1803, Elijah Eagan (sometimes called "Hagan").

5   Elizabeth Peregoy, born 23 Dec 1781; died March 1866,

Harrison, Ohio; married 8 March 1801; to Daniel Smith,

born 1774; died 14 July 1856. (ANCESTORS OF

           MR. H. H. LEE, CO-RESEARCHER).

      5.   Edna Ann Peregoy, born 7 April 1784; died Aug 18___?

She was living as of 1824; when last mentioned in the

Division of estate proceedings, and probably living also

as of 1835, though not mentioned specifically when

the case was finally concluded. She was unmarried.

      5.   Joseph Peregoy, son of William & Henrietta (Parks)

Peregoy, was born 10 March 1786 and died 25 Feb

Cem.  Joseph and Elizabeth l lived in Cockeysville, Baltimore

Co. Md., then moved to Monument St. Baltimore City, Md.,

           about 1833.

Joseph served in the war of 1812 and his obituary in the Baltimore

American & Commercial Advertiser, of 27 Feb. 1861, states "On

the 25th instant, Joseph Peregoy (died) in the 75th year of his

age, as one of the "Defenders of Baltimore in 1813 & 14."(as

the veterans of 1812-14 grew older & fewer, they formed a

society called the "Old Defenders" and they marched or rode

in parades, (if able), and were otherwise honored on special

anniversaries by the city). On 22 May 1877, the same

publication bore the following notice: "Peregoy--on the morning
