When  life's problems try to drown you,

       and your faith is not very strong.

       Place your eyes on the problem-solver,

       and let His praise become your song.

         For He's the only One who can help you,

         and His mercy never fails;

         He is there to fight your battles

         even to the gates of hell.

       If you keep your eyes on the problem

       you will walk in doubt and fear,

       but if you keep your eyes on God,

       all your problems will soon disappear.

        Remember and sing when you are happy,

        and sing when you're sick or well,

        sing praises to God in heaven,

        and shut all the gates of hell.
