Upcoming Writings based on Original Thoughts
-
Each Individual Name is very important to God. That Name,
when associated with its unique ancestry, is the definitive label of
its person.
-
God, Our Father, takes a great deal of care with detail.
This sometimes causes events to transpire at a slower rate.
-
God has needs. He creates what he needs. He created us.
-
Don't dilute your faith
-
Giving from the heart is our finest and most beautiful way
of imitating God's Grace. This is why we all love Christmas so.
Through our giving of gifts, we are reenacting the love that God
showed us when He gave us His Son, Jesus. A person who gives is not
poor.
-
When we use the Scripture of removing the mountain, for the
purpose of removing a problem, we should be prepared to establish a
mountain of blessing and praise in its place. Mark 11:23
-
Each word we speak - Each act we do becomes our testament of
ourselves. Just as we read the Word of God to truly KNOW God and His
Son, Jesus, God is diligently studying the lives we lead through our
actions and words, comparing those actions and words with the intents
of our hearts. Most often, He just loves us anyway.
-
God tells us that if
we are faithful in little, we will be faithful in much. This truth
can
be applied not only to comparing the lesser responsibilities in this
world with the greater responsibilities, but also to the comparison
of
our caring for anything we are given in life to the care of the
spiritual gifts we are given. For instance:
-
1. Caring for Loved Ones - Caring for those God brings into our
lives.
-
2. Keeping a small house neat and clean - Keeping a large home -
Preparing for our eternal home.
-
3. Taking care of our natural bodies, what we eat and how we
exercise and rest - Taking care of the inner spirit given to us by
God, what we feed it (preferably the Word over television violence
and pornography), how we exercise our faith and how we pray -
preparing for the heavenly body which God has promised to provide.
-
4.Taking care of personal business matters - Taking care of job
or business matters of any kind - Taking care of God's business.
-
5.Joyful tithing, giving of offering and alms in our everyday
life - Joyful tithing, giving of offering and alms in our business
-
distribution of God's money in a ministry.
-
6.Studying the Word of God diligently to become more enlightened
to His truth - Sharing the Word of God in joyful witness to others
that they may become enlightened - Eternal life in the Word, God's
loving presence throughout eternity
-
Allowing argument about the Word of God. Once we begin
arguing about our "interpretation" or our "opinion" or our "point of
view" or our "religion", we leave an opening for someone to suspect
the depth of our faith in God and God's Word. You KNOW what you KNOW.
Keep your mouth shut unless God gives you the annointing to speak.
-
"Knowing" your helpmate. The intimate bond, both physical
and spiritual, between the husband and wife.
-
Using God's name in
vain - we're not talking about cussing, we're talking about using His
Name lightly. "God Bless You." "God Loves you." Don't use these terms
lightly unless you have a clear understanding of their power.
-
What do you spend the most time thinking about? What do you
know most about?
-
Now that Jesus is YOUR
Lord, get used to it.
-
Every atom celebrating God! The spiritual knowledge of
healing applied mentally and physically
-
It's easier and wiser to believe from the "inside" than from
the outside ( Jesus as Lord - knowing about Jesus). A Personal God.
-
Don't replace God with religion
-
New Creature
announcements. How to live as a Christian among those who knew us
"before."
-
We're Part of His riches in glory
-
OK! Let's be
"realistic"! Dealing with the nonbeliever
-
Don't get eaten up by the "WHAT IF" Lions. (Daniel in the
lions' den).
Lots MORE where these came from! Stay tuned!
Since these thoughts are inspired by God's Word, they do not
belong to me exclusively. If you are a Christian writer or a preacher,
please make use of any of these themes with my blessings. If we both
happen to write on the same concept, then just like Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John, we can bless others by our different perspectives on that
theme. I very much enjoy hearing that what I have written inspires
others. So if these thoughts inspire or encourage you in any way, I am
truely blessed. This pertains to all the writings on this site. Let's
all glorify God together!
As a child growing up, I can remember my grandmother telling me
stories of one of my ancestors, who was a circuit rider. A circuitrider
is generally known as a minister who travels from town to town on
horseback spreading the Gospel.
In this Web Site, I attempt to honor not only my ancestor's memory,
but also his efforts. Like my ancestor, I have an urge to spread the
Good News of Jesus Christ. Now I am realizing a lifelong desire to
share
what I have learned through essays dedicated to telling about Jesus,
His
Gospel and His Salvation.
My husband, Dan, and I have Bible study every morning and we enjoy
Christian television on Sundays and weekdays. I am very interested in
conversation with other Christians about God's Word.
Although I'm not an ordained minister, I believe that we who call
ourselves Christian and who truly love the Word of God should act on
the
words that He speaks to us in Mark 16:15-16
"Go ye into all the
world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believes
and is Baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall
be
damned."
|
In this Website, you will see that I am beginning my own circuit. I
come to you with the Word of Jesus, and in the name of Jesus, you will be
blessed with enlightenment and will come to know that Jesus Christ is
Lord.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth
the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9

The Circuit Rider's New Home
For those who have been to the Circuit Rider before, the new
pages here are chosen to enhance your experience and encourage a sense
of peace as you go from room to room. All of my essays are still here,
and you can access them in the library or by the navigation bar at the
bottom of each page. I hope you will enjoy the new look and let it
remind you of this verse
U
Let the Peace of God rule in your
hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye
thankful. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the
Lord. And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name
of
the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians
3:15-17
