Each day during Bible Study, my husband, Dan, and I pray to
God. We pray aloud and together, praying what is in our hearts and what
is on our minds concerning family, friends and ourselves. We pray as the
Holy Spirit leads us, sometimes praying in tongues when we are at a loss
of what to say concerning a certain situation.
We always begin our prayer time with praise and thanksgiving to God
for what He has given us. These things include His blessings, such as
what he has provided for us and continues to provide, such as our home,
our health, our family members and friends. We often include prayer for
our government leaders and those in authority, such as policemen,
firemen, teachers and any others we might recall.
At the end of our prayer time, we thank God for His son, our Lord,
Jesus Christ and pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
Recently, we were sent a helpful guide by Kenneth Copeland Ministries which gives
us prayers from the Word and which Kenneth and Gloria pray each day for
us and for all their partners and which they have asked us to pray for
them. We are pleased to do so, praying these prayers for them and
including all our family members, loved ones and friends which, in my
heart, includes the visitors to " The Circuit Rider ." I
respectfully list these scriptural prayers for you here for you to have
for learning prayer straight from God's Word.
