me with my dreams to be an Oil Painter.
I always love the mountains, cabins and the snow.
John knew how I wanted to paint
but I didn't know how.
He came home one evening and told me
he had found a place for me to take lessons.
He was so happy when I learned to paint.
Dearest John,
My Love for you will never die,
Our bond stays true as time does fly,
I can't forget the touch we shared,
With God now, the pain you're spared,
You gave so much, held nothing back,
You held my hand on life's rough track,
A brush you placed within my hand,
These site is yours, is my command,
With patience now, I wait God's grace,
To join with you in that holy place.
Sometimes upon the porch I stand,
Gaze up and down along the land,
I think of you and truly miss,
And then the wind brings your sweet kiss.
