The U in JesUs
Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, U will see it is true -
U cannot spell out JesUs and not include U.
U are a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U, is the reason He died -
It even takes U to spell "crUcified".
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand;
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan.
The stone split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word "resUrrection" is spelled with a U.
When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension;
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - just like I love U."
So many great people are spelled with a U,
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know; but it all starts with U!
JesUs and U!!!

The song playing is "Ten Thousand Angels"
(see lyrics below)
- They bound the hands of Jesus in the garden when He prayed;
They led Him thru the streets in shame,
They spat upon the Saviour so pure and free from sin;
They said "Crucify Him ~ He's to blame"
Chorus
He could have called ten thousand angels
to destroy the world and set Him free
He could have called ten thousand angels
But He died alone, for you and me.
- Upon His precious head they placed a crown of thorns;
They laughed and said, "Behold the King"
They struck Him and they cursed Him and mocked His holy name,
All alone He suffered everything.
Chorus
He could have called ten thousand angels
to destroy the world and set Him free
He could have called ten thousand angels
But He died alone, for you and me.
- When they nailed Him to the Cross, His mother stood nearby,
He said, "Woman, behold thy son!"
He cried, "I thirst for water, but they gave Him none to drink.
Then the sinful work of man was done.
Chorus
He could have called ten thousand angels
to destroy the world and set Him free
He could have called ten thousand angels
But He died alone, for you and me.
- To the howling mob He yielded; He did not for mercy cry.
The Cross of shame He took alone.
And when He cried, "It's finished!", He gave Himself to die,
Salvation's wondrous plan was done.
Chorus
He could have called ten thousand angels
to destroy the world and set Him free
He could have called ten thousand angels
But He died alone, for you and me.
