My life is a poem so God ordered some rhyme
And I received seven verses three minus ten dimes

My life is a poem so on paper I wrote
There in technicolor with such deep emotion all in my throat

My life is a poem written across these seven notes
I can hear angels singing eight souls saved in a boat

My life is a poem completely filled without any common prose
I can hear God saying right right write of the soul

My life is a poem and poetry is posing you see
God has given me this gift so words might fly unto thee

My life is a poem so I am so free to confess
God's power with word to us He has addressed

My life is a poem so God ordered some rhyme
Then He prepared my heart to chose love before ten dimes
