I always find it difficult to share my testimony. It isn't one of those "exciting" ones. But here goes...

I was led to the Lord by my Aunt Cathy when I was 15 years old. She was the first person I had ever met who was sold out for Jesus! (Plus she is cute and I wanted to be like her) We were visiting in Washington and my little sister and I opted to spend the night with "cool Aunt Cathy". She told us about Jesus and how He died for our sins so that we could be with Him and live forever in His Kingdom. After everyone had gone to bed that night I asked my sister, Lindsay what she thought about what we had heard that night. We talked for awhile and in the end we both gave our lives to the Lord.

I don't know what Lindsay experienced at that moment but I know that something in me changed. It was like the ceiling opened and the whole room was engulfed in a beautiful cleansing light! Everything looked as clean and fresh and wonderful as I felt. I can't even begin to explain the Peace and Joy that I felt at that moment.

I wish that I could say that I served God whole-heartedly after that but I didn't. I had made Jesus my Saviour but it would be a long time before I made Him my Lord!

I will try to get more down about the years that led up to me rededicating my life to the Lord but for now I want to say that if you don't know Jesus as YOUR PERSONAL Lord and Saviour you can! It doesn't matter what you have done. It really doesn't. There is no sin to big for God to forgive! He wants you to turn your life over to Him and let Him carry your burdens! Let Him heal all your hurts and give Him control of your life. You will never regret it.
