My little Dustin I miss you so much,
The way you smiled and your tender touch,
Your sweet blue eyes windows to your soul,
It’s so hard my son to say goodbye,
It breaks my heart to let you go,
But I know you are safe my baby,
With Jesus hand in hand,
A soldier in God’s army,
A beautiful angel guarding our fallen land,
God planned your birth before you were conceived,
His love for you unfathomable so beautiful so vast,
He whispered breath into your tiny body,
And gently captured your last,
I know you are watching as we prepare to set you free,
A part of me died with you that night,
And is in Heaven holding you now,
With God’s help one day I will once again celebrate life,
I know that only He can show me how,
With dignity as God’s child I take strength and am strong,

I sit and I watch as time passes by,
While one that we love passes over and dies,
