Integrity

The Hebrew meaning of Jobs (Integrity)

Simply means innocence. Job was innocent.

So he never lost his integrity. Job was

Tempted, but never acted upon the

Temptations sent his way. Job never

Cursed God. In Job the first chapter

His wife said to him, "Do you still hold

fast to your blameless uprightness?

Renounce God and die. You see in the

Next verse that In spite of it all,

(The calamities) Job did not sin with

his lips. He did however in the next

verse curse the day he was born. He

wished that he had been stillborn

rather that have to suffer so. He

questions why. "Why? Why was not

he a miscarriage, Why is the light

of life given to him who is in misery?

Why is the light of day given to a

man whose way is hedged in?"

He says his sighing comes before his

food, and his groanings are poured

our like water, for all those things he

has greatly feared had come upon him.

He was not at ease, He could not rest,

He could not be quite, yet trouble

came and continued to come upon him.

Jobs friends,.. Whit friends like them

who needs enemies? They dealt with

Job deceitfully. judging him. Yet in

Job the ninth chapter Job says, "God

Is wise in heart, and mighty in strength.

Who has hardened himself against God

And prospered or even been safe?

Though I am Innocent and in the

right, my own mouth would condemn

me. Though I am blameless, I regard

not myself, I despise my life. It is

all one, therefore I say God {does

not discriminate, but} destroys the

blameless and the wicked." Jesus

Himself said.

"Matthew 5:45

( Amplified)

To show that you are

the children of your Father who is

in heaven, For He makes His sun

rise on the wicked and on the good

and makes the rain fall upon the

upright and the wrong-doers { alike}.

"For God is not a mere man as I am,

that I should answer him, that we

should come together in court."

Job loathed his life of suffering, who

Wouldn't? But Job was a man of

Integrity. Job was innocent!

You ask : If I am committed to

being a man of integrity in God's

eyes as Job is. What am I committed

to? My Answer: As you raise the

standards of spiritual intensity, moral

integrity and physical purity in your

personal life, The Glory of God will

envelope you and be a covering against

the onslaught of the devil. Because

you know who God is, you know who

you are. You are God's creation. You

are not above your creator.

You are committed to keeping yourself

Innocent of social moral filth and

You will as I have said before, allow

Integrity to rule your heart and guard

Your conduct. Tough? Yes possible?

Yes! For when we are weak then Christ

In us is strong. We do it in His

Strength, not ours.

"Matthew 5:48

{ Amplified}

You

therefore, must be perfect { growing

into complete maturity of Godliness in

mind and character, reached the proper

height of virtue and integrity}, as your

heavenly Father is perfect.

"Psalm 25:21"

Let integrity and

uprightness preserve me, for I wait

on three.

I heard someone a few years ago say

that if you do not stand for something,

you will fall for anything. As a parent

raising five children, I kept my

standard high. They knew that Mom

stood on the word of God. Godly

integrity comes from our convictions

in today's world, but that has been true

I am quite sure in every generation.

Somehow, a lot of Christian people seem

to thank that God has become more

permissive than he used to be, Not So!

God Does Not Change His Moral Laws.

Our integrity does not bow at the alter of

self-preservation, or self-promotion. And

It never cowers to the current moral

climate of the day. Integrity is the

backbone of every man or woman of

God who separates themselves from what

Is socially acceptable, but morally

Incorrect. We need to allow Integrity

to rule our hearts and guide our conduct,

because integrity is who we are when

no one else is looking.

"Proverb 20:7"

The man walketh in his

integrity: his children are blessed after him.
