About My Loss and Grief
On April 12th , 1999, My Husband Bob went home to Heaven.
I was there with him in our home, along with our children and friends.
Even though we all knew he was fatally ill, and
there was no cure, we all were still in shock when he passed on.
It has been more than 2 years now, and I'm still having days
that are rough, but it's getting easier with
time. I am a Christian, and I know that
Bob is in Heaven, I still miss him.

I know that there are many out there that are going through the same thing
I know that our Lord Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us!
But, we do have to deal with death as long as we live on this earth.
Depression comes to Christians, so If you have lost
a loved one, you may be going through this at the present time,
or if you live long enough, you will go through the
grief process. This is normal, Jesus grieved also.
Let this encourage you as well as myself, "this to shall pass."

God still has many great things in store for us to do for his kingdom.
Yes, we are survivors, we are overcomers,
we are more than conquerors, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You are not alone, although it may seem, that no one knows the pain,
and loneliness that you are feeling at this time.
But there is one that promised to never leave us nor forsake us,
" His name is Jesus." Jesus knows and understands our
grief and pain, therefore he sent The Holy Spirit, for He is our comforter.

We have to take one day at a time, to work through our grief in
this time of sorrow, and the Holy Spirit is there
working with us. So let yourself grieve, and allow yourself to heal.
Each person has to work out their grief, in their
own way, and in their own time.

At this time, in my process grief and loneliness,
I have good days and I have bad days, but,
I am better today than I was even last month.
And with my Lord and the Holy Spirit,
I know I will get better day by day.
God is so good, and compassionate,
He loves me so. I Praise him and
Magnify His Mighty Name.

A letter that was written to my family, and friends,
and to those who are going through the loss of a loved one.
Truly I can say to all of you, "Let not your heart be troubled."
"Trust in God; trust also in me. In my fathers house are many rooms;
if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to
prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
You know the way to the place where I am going. { John 14:1-4 }

Heaven, is a place of reunion. If you have a loved one,
who has gone on before you,
Take heart! For He or she, will be
waiting for us to cross the threshold of that Great City.
There will be no more tears or overwhelming loneliness,,
For we will see them again. And on the streets
of Glory, cares all past, Home at last,
ever to Rejoice.
