I Believe, Would You?

 

Dear Friends,

I have been asked many times what I believe about salvation. This page is written especially for those who want to know. If you want to read your bible and study to show yourself and run references, Your Servant in Christ, Karen.

  1. Salvation means to be set free from sin and it's penalty. Revelation 1:5 Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sin in his own blood.

    2. Romans 5:9

    Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

  2. We must be saved because we are all lost and going to hell.

    3. Romans 3:23

    For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

    Ezekiel 18:4 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

  3. I believe in order to be saved, you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

    4. Acts 16:31

    Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

    Romans 10:9-10

    Thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt believe in thine heart that god raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  4. We must repent of our sin and ask God for Christ sake, to forgive us, and cleanse our hearts from sin.

    5. John 1:1-9

    If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us of sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    2nd Corinthians 7:10

    Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation.

  5. When we are saved, we are born into the family of God by the Holy Spirit. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "Ye must be born again."

    6. John 3:3

    Jesus answered, and said to him, " Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

    2nd Corinthians 5:17

    If any man be in Christ, he is a mew creature: Old things are passed away; Behold, all things become new.

  6. Justification means that God declares one to free from guilt {Just as if he never sinned!} and declares him to be righteous in his sight.

    7. Romans 5:1

    Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Romans 3:28

    Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

  7. We are adopted into Gods family. It is an act of God whereby a sinner is forgiven and actually adopted into the family of God and counted as a son entitled to full inheritance.

Romans 8:16-17

The spirit himself bearith witness with our spirit that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, son we also be glorified together.

1st Peter 4:13

But rejoice that you may participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that we may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

Now if you are not saved and want be saved, just pray this prayer with me, and You will become my new brother or sister in Christ. And from this time on, Jesus has already made provisions for everything that you need.

His Word Is His Will For You!

Let us pray,

Father, It is written in your word that if I confess with my mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that you have raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. I ask you right now to forgive me for all sin in my life. I renounce those sins and close the door to the Devil and all his devices. Apply your precious blood to my heart and my life making me a new creation, your child, and keep your hand on me all the days of my life. Thank you for forgiving me of all my sin, Jesus, You are my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away, now, this very minute! Now all things become new, in my body, soul, and spirit, in Jesus name, I know it is done. Amen
