I keep my paintbrush with me

Wherever I may go,

In case I need to cover up

I'm so afraid to show you me,

Afraid of what you'll do --that

You might laugh or say mean things.

I'm afraid I might lose you.

I'd like to remove all my paint coats

To show you the real, true me,

But I want you to try and understand,

I need you to accept what you see.

So if you'll be patient and close your eyes,

I'll strip off all my coats real slow.

Please understand how much its hurts

To let the real me show.

Now my coats are all striped off.

I feel naked, bare and cold,

And if you still love me with all that you see,

You are my friend, pure as gold.

I need to save my paint bush though,

And hold it in my hand,

I want to keep it handy

In case someone doesn't understand.

So please protect me, my dear friend

And thanks for loving me true, but

Please let me keep my pain brush with me

Until I love me, too.

This is true all of us with sin.

And we all have sinned and come

Short of the glory of God. Even though

we, everyone who reads these words

may be a "born again child of God"

none of us are perfected. But we must

keep on keeping on, search our hearts

daily and ask God to forgive any sin

and cleanse us. It is a daily walk.

Confession brings forgiveness

and purification.

I want you to notice that

is speaking to Christians. So by that

we know that we need to not allow

sins to take over our walk with God.

Did you know that the devil knows

Where our weakness is and he will

prey on your mind in order to

destroy your walk with God? Then

after the sin is convinced and acted

upon, the devil will lie to you and

tell you that you can hide your sin?

You may hide your sin from people

But God sees and knows all about it,

And still LOVES YOU the sinner and

Is calling to us to Confess our sins.

Why, because he wants to show you

His mercy.

HE HEARS, HE SEES, HE KNOWS:

He wants to show us His Mercy and

Grace. He wants us to be merciful and

gracious toward one another because

He wants to show us His Mercy and His

Great Love toward us.

It is written in Ephesians, But because

Of His great love for us, God, who is rich

In mercy, made us alive with Christ even

When we were dead in transgressions...It

Is by Grace that you have been saved.

So We need to stop whitewashing (painting

Over our sins) because it is impossible to

hide those sins from God ! Besides that,

It is God we will stand before on

Judgement day, and not our peers.

So which is the most Important? It

Is our choice and ours alone, possibly

The most important choice you will ever

Make.

Once God has forgiven us and Cleansed
