IT'S UP TO YOU

I gave you life, but I cannot live it for you.

I can teach you things, but I cannot make you learn.

I can show you the way, but I cannot always be there

to lead you.

I can allow you freedom, but I cannot account for it.

I can take you to church, but I cannot make you believe

I can teach you right from wrong, but I can't always

decided for you.

I can buy you beautiful clothing, but I cannot make

you lovely inside.

I can offer you advice, but I cannot accept it for you.

I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you.

I can teach you to be a friend, but I cannot make you one.

I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish.

I can teach you respect, but I can't you to show honor.

I can grieve about your report card, but I cannot

doubt your teachers.

I can teach you about sex, but I cannot keep you pure.

I can tell the facts of life, but I can't build your reputation.

I can tell you about drink, but I can't say NO for you.

I can warn you about drugs, but I can't prevent you

from using them.

I can tell you about lofty goals, but I can't achieve

them for you.

I can teach you kindness, but I can't force you to

be gracious.

I can warn you about sin, but I cannot make your morals.

I can love you as a daughter or son, but I cannot place

you in God's Family.

I can pray for you, but I cannot make you walk with God.

I can teach you about Jesus, but I cannot make HIM

Your Savior.

I can teach you to OBEY, but I cannot make Jesus Your

Lord.

 How many times we as parents are put on "Guilt Trip,"

Guilt trips that we have put on ourselves, because we

Are so used to being responsible for our children,

That we all sometimes forget that once they are grown

They are really all responsibly for their own actions.

Now If you and I have taught our children how to live

Their lives responsibly and have taught them the Word

Of God there is no reason that you should allow Guilt

Trips to be laid upon your shoulders.

Even if were not a Godly parent, God can restore

all those years if you repent, and follow the Lord

Jesus Christ, and pray for your entire family. Nothing

Is impossible with God. He is the same yesterday today

And forever.

Some people though have misguided notion though that

because they come to Christ they will not have any more

problems! WRONG! For although God does not personally

temp you, He will allow trials to come your way so that your

faith can be purged and doubt and distrust. Parents, God

wants us to completely trust him with your children and

yourselves

But we should always pray and not faint, help them

In all the ways you can, Stand on the Scriptures that

Say, (1.) "Teach your children the way they should

Go and when they get old, they will not depart from it."

(2.) Psalm 103:17-18 " but the mercy of the LORD is

from everlasting upon them that fear him, and His

righteousness unto children's children., to such

as keep His covenant, and to those that remember

Dear parent, when someone, (the devil, your kids, or

Whoever) tries to put a guilt trip on you when you have

done all, "Just tell them out loud !" " God you take care

of it!" The devil needs to here it and so does anyone

who tries to place false guilt on you !

For God Is Faithful to take care of ALL you ask

Him to in Jesus Name. Amen
