Ocean View Mural

of home spa room

Before
south wall

This is a new addition onto the master bedroom.  It will be their little island get away, with a hot tub, tanning booth, and sun room beyond.
That huge wrapped object in the foreground is the hot tub.

The clients wanted a plain sky and ocean, with very little activity in it.

The two little dophins on the left are only about 3 inches high.   This photo was taken before the floor was finished. There will be a hot tub put in this corner, so the lower part of the wall won't be seen.

Here is the way it looks now with the hot tub added.

Mural Information

Prices

It is impossible to give a price quote on wall murals, without visiting the site where the mural will be painted. I paint directly on the wall. There are many things to consider, when painting on site. First of all, will it be safe for me to paint? Will I have to use a ladder or scaffolding? I am an older lady and do not do well on scaffolds. Believe it or not, I'm scared of heights, so I avoid using high ladders or scaffolds. If I can reach everything while standing on the floor, or a short ladder, I'm a happy lady! I refuse to paint detailed work while swinging from the rafters, ha.

I am really into detail and do a lot of research for each mural. I view hundreds of photos to get all the little details, to make sure the image is as close to reality as possible, unless you want something more "artsy". Each mural is unique as a work of art. I work closely with the client, to create a "world" according to your liking. This is where your imagination can turn into reality, at least on your walls. Through painting, I can turn your walls into a whole new world, turning that ugly wall into a paradise. Now you can take a vacation without ever leaving home!

You can go to the international pricing chart website, to see what the "standard" is for pricing, but that is not what I go by. You will find my prices much more affordable. Every job is different and unique. Some objects can be painted very quickly, while other things may take several hours or days to paint. I'm into detail, so I don't charge by the hour, or it would cost you a fortune. I don't like to be rushed, when I'm working, because I want it to be a work of art, not an assembly line job.

If you want something that looks like wallpaper, get wall paper. If you want an original work of art, come to me.

I also paint regular paintings on canvas, panels, furniture, glass, clothing, etc. For a look at my prices for commissioned art, please visit my pet portrait page. Those are prices for pet portraits, which will give you a idea. If you want another subject, the price may vary, depending on the amount of time, material, and detail involved.
