The song playing on this page is, "Too Much To Gain To Lose" from Piano Lady's latest cd, "Angels All Around You".
This song is so much like the real life testimony of Piano Lady. She's seen a lot of hard times, and had more than her share of heartache.
She gave up a career to play for Jesus. She doesn't rehearse before a recording, because, she says she doesn't play her music as a performance but as the Lord leads her.
She's suffered the loss of many close family members to death. The most recent one being her beloved son, Gary, with whom she had an especially close relationship. The last few years have brought one tragedy upon another into her life.
She's lost and endured much, but through all the pain, heartache, and lose her testimony remains, "I HAVE TOO MUCH TO GAIN TO LOSE....".

Greetings in the
Precious Name of Jesus !
It's a great honor for me to write a testimonial for Elva Walker. I've known her for many years and had the pleasure of being her pastor at the Central Assembly of God church in Henderson, Ky.
I have been involved in the singing ministry for many years which has taken me to many places and never have I encountered a more talented person than Elva. She has mastered both the piano and organ which is quite an accomplishment.
Elva traveled and worked in the entertainment field with Priscilla Presley, Miss World and others. But while in that business the Lord convicted her that the musical gift He had given her was to be used for His Glory. She told the Lord that regardless of the cost she would give up performing in the entertainment business. And the Lord took her at her word.
Even though she easily could have had fame and fortune Elva suddenly found herself down to one piece of bread.
But she persevered knowing that God's Word says "What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36)
She came to me at church and shared her feelings and said that regardless of the cost she was going to give up performing in the entertainment business and work for the Lord.
God honored her obedience and placed an anointing on her music. As you listen to her play you will sense the presence of the Lord. I have to say that very few musicians are sensitive to the Spirit as Elva and her greatest desire is to bring Honor and Glory to God.

Not because she is my Mother, but she is one of the best musicians on both the organ and piano.
