I’ve been feeling a little blue So naturally I though of you, You always know what to say Tp brighten my gloomy day. When I get a little depressed I go to you for some happiness, You're always that needed spark That lights up my dark. A few other friends have I But you're my blue in the sky, My rainy day rainbow, My cheer when I'm low. Each time I've lost my smile I just talk to you for awhile, You always help me find it, By the time we've talked a bit. You will listen to my troubles Till I'm filled with happy bubbles; So here I am once more, Knock‘n on friendships door. I'm sorry to put you through this But I could use a little tenderness, And it's my turn to lean on you, ‘cause that's what best friends do. ~~~~~~

THINKING ABOUT PEACE

A very good morning to you,
a morning without plight.
May your day be full of joy,
may it only bring delight.

Plenty of trouble in the world,
especially today.
Terror, murder, lies, deceit,
What is there to say?

No words, no sense. We ask ourselves:
Whatever can we do?
The finger points elsewhere, of course,
It wasn't me, it's you!

Ethics, morals - do they matter?
Does anyone still think that way?
Is it easier to be selfish,
pushing others out of the way?

And here, the buck stops - yes, with YOU!
Here you must point the way
and set a counterpoint to hate,
then hate cannot hold sway!

It's only difficult at first,
you need to swim against the tide,
first a little, then a lot,
ask God, and he will be your guide.

I wish you luck with all my heart
and hope you will succeed today!
No negative vibrations, please,
The positive must have its say!

First I, then YOU, then EVERYONE,
Peace spreads like wildfire everywhere,
it conquers any war or strife,
and brings us love and peace so fair.
