Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Or so the story goes
With jingling bells and presents
Wrapped up in pretty bows

The sweet, warm smell of cookies
Wafting through the air
The lights and tinsel hung on high
The joy we all can share

Christmas comes but once a year
And leaves us without fail
With warmth and love for others
And greetings in the mail

But at this time there's something else
We should remember too
Christ was born upon this day
And later died for you

Yes, Christmas is such fun indeed
With gifts and love and joy
But let us not forget... it hails
The birth of a baby boy

So, Merry Christmas Season
With all that we hold dear
And may we celebrate in peace
As we greet another year
