Time To Celebrate

My son you're growing older now,
you're a teenager today.
It seems like just the other day
I was bringing you home to stay.
We've had good times throughout the years
and you've kept me on the run.
I wouldn't change a single thing

God blessed me thirteen years ago
when He gave you to me.
So much joy just filled my heart
when I bounced you on my knee.
Now I may not hold you like I did
thirteen years ago.
But in my heart I hold you close
no matter where you go.
