Reflections"

Children are reflections,
Of who we really are;
Look inside the orchard,
The fruit will not be far.

Do their daily lives
portray Jesus as their Lord?
Or display the mistakes we made,
Choosing to ignore?


Have their eyes seen witness
of how their lives should be?
Or are their eyes so blinded
that they simply will not see?

Have their ears been deafened
to the Lord's awesome truth?
Or have they learned the Gospel,
by example, since their youth?


Are their hearts of growing faith
for all the world to see?
Or are their hearts so hardened
that they refuse to believe?

Are your children a reflection
of whom God adores?
Have you grown to know the Lord,
or have you slammed the door?
