MY TRIBUTE TO AMERICA - SEPT.11, 2001

Our Hearts Are With You America

Our hearts have been torn apart by the horrific tragedy on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Words cannot express how we feel but I will do my best to tell you. Our lives will never be the same again. This has changed all our lives forever. Your pain is our pain. Our tears are flowing for the USA. How fragile life is. May each of you reflect on your life and look to the Creator of Heaven and earth. May God touch the hearts of America. Our prayers are with all of you as I know that everyone has been affected in some way. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones. May God comfort you in some way.

STAND UNITED, STAND STRONG, STAND FIRM.

Do not let those responsible intimidate you. Remember they are few you are many. Hold fast to your faith in God.

Remember Your Neighbour

Remember that these people are called EXTREMIST for a reason. They are not your average, everyday person - even in their own nationality(ies). Do not blame others for what these fanatics have done. God says we are to love our neighbour (and he does not say if they are a certain color or nationality). People cannot help what country they were born in but they can help how they treat others. People of other nationalities have moved to America to get away from these terrorists and to live peaceful lives. That is what makes America "the land of the free". Today we need to stand together with our neighbour regardless of their nationality. They too are very saddened by what has happened. They to feel the pain. They to love this country. They to want justice. LET ALL OF AMERICA STAND TOGETHER. Pray for this country. Renew your faith in God. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA.

It's a problem that prompted President Bush to make a strong statement during a conference call with New York Gov. George Pataki and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

"Our nation must be mindful that there are thousands of Arab-Americans who live in New York City," he said, "who love their flag just as much as the three of us do, and we must be mindful that as we seek to win the war that we treat Arab-Americans and Muslims with the respect they deserve."

According to a CNN news report a student said that their teacher made the following comment "Palestinian children all want to become terrorists."

How sad that people in this modern age can be so heartless. Remember THESE PEOPLE ARE AMERICANS TOO.

PRAYER FOR AMERICA - SEPT.11,2001

Dear Heavenly Father: We come to you with our American friends and ask for mighty things. We pray that all of America will seek God's guidance on what to do now, especially the head of this great nation. Help them to remember what happened at Jericho when God's guidance was sought. We ask that You be with those who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy and comfort them. We ask for your presence in their lives as well as in the lives of all America as everyone is affected in some way by this tragedy. I pray that this will be a wake up call to follow You Lord. I pray that You will touch the hearts of those who don't know You - that they might turn to You and never leave You again. I pray that those who have asked "Where is God now" be reminded that You are forever there and that You were always there. Soften their hearts Lord that they not turn against You forever but will come to realize that YES You were there and that they will seek answers through prayer and reading of the Word of God. We pray for those who have lost jobs through this that You will supply all their NEEDS at this time. Oh God, let all unsaved America lift their hands towards Heaven and cry out to You in repentance. I pray that You will set trust and love and caring for others once again in the hearts of America. Help them to love one another. Remind them of the day You gave Your only Son to die on the cross that they might be saved. I pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon ALL America. In Jesus name I ask it, Amen
