Gods restorative plan is to make our gates of shining carbuncles.
the word for GATES here means, a opening door to a city.
All through the old Testement gates were used as places of buisness, places of court, and places of authority where decisions were made. ( Gen. 34:20, josh.20:4 1king.22:10)
Spiritually the gates of our hearts represent our will.
Through abuse the gates and doors of our hearts were torn down and severly damaged.
Our authority and right to choose was violated.
The gates are the places where satan develops legal ground in our lives through lies and false beliefs.
But the Lord Jesus comes and stands at our gates of authority and court, and HE holds up His nail scared hand and declares us NOT GUILTY and through the cleansing blood of Jesus CHrist legally sets us free from the legal ground satan had in our lives!!!!!
The word for CARBUNCLE means, Fiery Gem.
At the entrance of our gates, God places pure shining, carbuncles.
These gems represent the pure Holiness of God, which consumes all that is not HOLY.
THese gems protect the entrance of our hearts from the enemy and all things that are impure.
All weapons of the enemy have to pass through the HOLINESS OF GOD before it can affect us.
This chapter continues on with promises to the abused.
For those who have grown up in the cult, and have lost children, you can claim and pray verse 13 over your lost children.
Gods heart for you is to restore the lost children and childhood that was stolen from you.
Verse 14 is Gods heart that you be far removed from all the destruction and oppression and terror you faced in the abuse.
Verse 15 tells us Gods heart that we no longer be victims, but that whenever an enemy tries to come against you, he must fall and surrender to you through the Power of the Lord Jesus CHrist.
Gods heart cry is for you to know the power, peace and security you have as His reward and established heritage.
Verse 17 tells us that Gods vindication for us who have been abused is His promise that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER.
And through HIS power we can show in the WRONG every lie satan tries to attack us with.
