Kellie Coffey performed as an opening act at one of the annual Country Music Festival concerts at the Taste of Chicago in July, 2004. With Geoff singing background vocals, Kellie first sang a couple of her most popular songs, Put It In The Sunday Paper and Chasin' Those Texas Plates. She also sang My Best Friend Is The Radio, Little Rock (a former Reba McEntire hit), Girls' Night Out (a former Judds hit), When You Lie Next To Me, and America The Beautiful.

Her style reminded me of Shania Twain. She sang with energy and enthusiasm, and the crowd loved it. Unfortunately, the sound system was a bit loud and distorted, so I couldn't understand the names when she introduced the band members.
