Pictures of Ireland, June, 2002.

Taken by Jonathan Wilson

My son, Jonathan, went to Ireland with a singles group and took a lot of pictures. I have no idea where he was for most of them. In the first one, they were at Blarney Castle where some of them leaned backwards over a 4-story hole and kissed the Blarney Stone. The legend claims that it makes a person eloquent.

Some of the pictures are included just to show that they drive on the left side of the road in Ireland rather than the right side as we do here in America. Some were taken at the glass-blowing factory at Waterford which made the new year's ball that was used in New York in the year 2000, a picture of which is included. Some were taken in a simulated ancient peasant cottage and a simulated cottage of a wealthier person. Click on any small picture below to see the large version in a separate window.
