Graham Nut Toffee Squares

12 whole double graham crackers

1 cup butter or margarine

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separate crackers on perforations into rectangles. Lay crackers in jelly roll pan
so that entire bottom of pan is covered completely. Melt the butter and sugar together. Bring to boil and cook
for exactly 3 minutes. Pour syrup over graham crackers. Sprinkle with nuts, and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen.
