Tjs Children's Ministry

Hi kids,

I thought I might talk to you alittle bit about strangers.

This world is a scarey place for little kids and I want to encourage you to not talk to strangers that you meet online, unless your mom or dad is around, so they can help you be safe.

You cant tell very much about yourself online to people you dont know and I would not want anything to happen to you. So Im going to give you a couple pointers on safety on the internet.

1. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR FULL NAME, NEVER YOUR LAST NAME

2. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER OR YOU HOUSE ADDRESS.

3. MAKE SURE YOUR PARENTS APPROVE OF THE SITES YOU GO ON, THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT IN THE INTERNET WHO HAVE SITES THAT TRY TO TELL YOU LIES ABOUT JESUS.

4. NEVER GIVE ANYONE THE NAME OF YOUR SCHOOL.

5. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS UNLESS MOM OR DAD SAY IT IS OK.

6. NEVER AGREE TO MEET ANYONE THAT YOU HAVE MET ON THE INTERNET. EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU YOUR PARENTS SAID THAT IT WAS OK.

I dont want to scare you but there are alot of bad people out there who hurt or steal little children, just like you. And I know that your family would be very upset if something happen to you.

Even if you are in a chat room like Tjs, becareful because these people who hurt children pretend to be really nice.

I know it is really hard to know who you can trust but the best person to ask is Mom or Dad or someone in your family.

I would like to ask you to go get someone in your family to visit the links that are over on the side of this website, so they can help you to understand about protecting yourself on the internet.

Take care little ones and be safe.

God Bless you,

Tj Darnell
