~*~Trisha's Treasures~*~

Dustin Ames Campbell
November 28, 1995
I never got to know you
or hear your first cry
time together short
left wondering why.
Dustin was your name
after a song
dreams of you now
go on and on.
My son you were
but not to be
tears I cry
like the endless sea.
Time has passed my son
and nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
but still your Mommy
can't help but wonder why.
Every Mother's Day I dream
of what could have been
if only for a moment
then it's gone again.
I miss you to this day my son
long to see you laugh and run
watch you grow and play
and finally turn into a Man one day.
But it was not to be
and now your spirit is soaring free
though some people refuse to see
you my son will always be a part of me.
On this Mother's Day
and those already passed
my love for you my son
will last and last.
Visit me in my dreams my son
and whisper to me in the wind
and next time we meet my son
it will be Mother's Day again !
Love always...
Your Mommy

I close my eyes
Only for a moment, then the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind,
oh...
Now, don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
The wind
