~How It Ended That Day~

"I hate you" he said with tears in his eyes
his love now gone ...his wife, ...his pride.

A love that was strong is now torn apart
replaced with hatred it fills his heart.

"How could you" and "why" he only wants to know
searching for answers as he watches her go.

It pains her to see that look in his eyes
knowing he blames her she starts to cry.

With no answers to give him she turns to leave
though with tears in her eyes she can hardly see.

She drives away but with one last glance
knowing now there'd never be another chance.

The tears keep falling as she drives away
thinking of their love and how it ended that day !

God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change Courage to change the
things I can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as the
pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this
sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make
all things right if I
surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy
in this life, and supremely
happy with Him forever in
the next.
