Love Hurts

Love is not always what it's cracked up to be
married 3 times now and it's still a mystery.

Often we say things in the midst of a fight
words that hurt deeply and cut like a knife.

Words said in anger that you can't take back
the damage is done and your now off track.

You say that your sorry for all the good that it does
praying for answers to win back your sweet love.

Love hurts, there's no doubt in my mind
It's God's greatest gift to all
and right now I'm feeling blind.
