McKayla Faye
What can I say about my little McKayla Fayeall the energy and life of a new Spring day !
Where she gets it I don't know
wish I had some to make me go.
Mean and sassy yes she is
sometimes I forget what it was like to be a kid.
Always into something wanting something to do
wanting so much to be grown up too !
She sure is pretty and can be so sweet
and always a gett'n under my feet.
At night when she is asleep
an Angel in disguise and oh what a treat !
One day she'll be grown and gone
and my heart will sing such a very sad song.
Like me in many ways as now I count my remaining days
and oh how I wish at times to go back and push rewind.
My name sake she is with lots of love to give
I only hope to see all that I hope for her to be !
So many things to do and so many things to see
wonder just what little McKayla will turn out to be.
Of all the things in this world that she could be
I only hope that she'll remember the love of her and me !
