MOM AND ME

First born girl for her eyes did see
and yes, ....that would be little ol' me !

My moms name is Rose and she's cute as can be.
And if I live to see
I only hope to be half as smart as she.

She's a collector of quite a bit
never leaves the White Elephant
without something she just had to get.

Loves to walk and read a good book
go out to eat and sometimes cook !

She loves automobiles and is always a changing
can't make up her mind always a rearranging.

Always a working and a worrying too
wondering about stuff nothing she can do.

She likes frogs and has a ol' dog
pretty glass fish and Indian things
and must say she's very fond of diamond rings !

Like her I am in many ways
as now I start to count my days.

Don't know how much time
Mom and me have left
but hoping to see
good times yet to be
for my Mom and me.

I love you Mom ...just had to say
as I write this poem to send your way.

In my heart you'll always be
forever loved Mom
Love,...me.
