Born in May on a nice spring day
a little sister was sent my way.
Happy as could be
for now I had a sister to play with me.
Play we would
and do things that not always we should.
Made mud pies and baked them in the sun
always into something ...always on the run.
Freeze Tag, Mother May I, Hop Scotch, and such
might not seem like fun to some ...but to us it meant much.
Now were all grown with children of our own
trying hard as it is ...in the times we now live.
Hoping for the best
as were put through life's test.
But one thing I can say
when God sent you this way
glad your my sister
and forever in my heart you'll stay !
