A Little Bit About My Life Story
by Trisha F.Maxwell
Well I really don't know where to start or how much I want to
tell about my life as some parts are hard for me to want to
share so maybe I'll just give bits and pieces to give you a
general idea.
I grew up and was raised for the most part on a beautiful dairy
farm in Augusta County VA. I loved it there and have so many
good memories and a few bad but for the most part I would have
to say that those were some of the best years of my life.
Pictured above is the home I lived in as a liitle girl...it did
not look exactly this way then but this is how it looks as of
the summer of 2002. My grandparents lived across the street and
us kids ( older brother Jr.,me Trisha, younger sister Pam, and
baby sister Shellie ) had a path worn out in two different
directions ...one path to the dairy and barns and another path
to the grandparents house which is pictured below.
Well to make a long story short my Mom and Dads marriage did not
last because of many reasons which I really do not want to get
into detail about but anyways after my baby sister Shellie came
a half sister ( Susan ) which I did not get raised with ...but,
with Dads death I have come to know her and must say that well...
its better late than never... and love her just like all the
rest.
Well my Dad ended up remarrying and then I gained yet another
sister ( Amy ) which Dad adopted as her daddy at the time I
don't think was to good a one and so Dad now had 5 girls and
only one son. So to make his marraige complete with my
step-mother ( Chris ) a baby was planned and that's where my
last but not least baby brother ( Corey ) came into the picture.
And so to make another long story short without going into
details my Dads marriage to Chris did not work out and so our
Grandparents had a hand in raising us which I am so thankfull
for.
Well the years they passed and not fast enough at the time as
you know how some kids are... can't wait to get out on their own
etc. ...and so I quit school in the 10th.grade ( big mistake )
and I ended up getting my Grandmother to sign ( reluctantly )
for me ( age 17 ) to marry my high school drop out boyfriend
and so you can guess what came next... well I should back track
a tiny bit and tell you I got pregnant ( planned ), then married
my boyfriend ( Darby ) and so then came along my beautiful baby
girl ( Chassidy ).When she
was born I was 18 years old.
And to make yet another long story short my marraige with
Chassidy's father ended as so many do and so then I worked,
struggled, went through my fair share of boyfriends and did
not meet and marry my second husband ( Clinton ) until
Chassidy was 9 years old.
Now as of July 2004 I was married 9 years to Clinton, and in
that time suffered the loss of a son :
( Dustin ), and gave
birth to two more beautiful daughters :
( Kelsea ) and
( McKayla ).
After my Dad passed away in March of 2002 I felt compelled to
start writing poems and with the purchase of a computer in July
of 2002 and after being introduced to
( Heavens Gates ) and
several other websites I decided that it looked like something I
would enjoy doing just for me ...as at the time I was a full
time Wife and Mom and did not at that point work outside of the
home... I felt having my own site ...( a special place ) for me
to put my poems and share with so many family and friends would
be a good thing for me to do ...something that I can be proud of
and something that means so much to me as most of my poems are
about my family, friends, etc. ...as they after all are what
inspires me to write poetry in the first place !
