Victory
When we think of the word "victory", the
picture that comes to mind, is sports team
that won the championship game, or that A+
on the final exam ,or even yet the war hero that
comes home from the war front, and the town
rolled out the red carpet in celebration. I'm sure
that we have all sometime in our life, wanted to
feel that feeling of victory. I have wonderful news,
the Bible promises us a far greater victory and
a more lasting one. We can experience spiritual victory
over sin and death .A victory both sure and final
though Christ's victory over death.
Genesis 4:7
You will be excepted, if you respond in the right
way . But if you refuse to respond correctly, then
watch out! Sin is waiting to attack and destroy
you, and you must subdue it.

God is telling us here that if we don't respond
to a situation that comes into our lives, we
open the door for Satan to attack us and
in some cases even destroy us, that why we
have to be in God's will at all times, it is though
Him and Him alone that we can claim victory.
We also see here that God said "we" have to
subdue Satan, you see he tells us this because "He"
gave us the weapons along with the Holy Spirit
to defeat Satan.
1John4:7
For every child of God defeats this evil
world by trusting Christ to give the victory.

Roman21-25
It seems to be a fact of life that when I want
to do what is right, I inevitable do what is
wrong. I love God's law with all my heart.
But there is another law at work within me
that is at war with my mind. This law wins
the fight and makes me a slave to the sin
that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable
person I am! Who will free me from this
life that is dominated by sin? Thank God!
The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Do
you see how it is, In my mind I really want
to obey God's law, but because of my sinful
nature I am a slave to sin.
As we see in these two scriptures if we are
Willing, God will help us defeat sin in our
lives. And though Christ he even guarantees
our ultimate victory over sin.
1stCorinthians9:24-27
Remember that in a race everyone runs, but
only one person gets the prize. You also must
run in such a way that you will win. All
athletes practice self-control. The do it to win
a prize that will fade away, but we do it for
an eternal prize. So I run straight to the goal
with purpose in every step. I am not like a boxer
who misses his punches. I discipline my body
like an athlete, training it to do what it should.
Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to other
I myself might be disqualified.

God has equipped us with everything we need to
defeat the enemy, and his temptation and Paul
is telling us here that to experience victory in
the Christian life, we must be willing to commit
ourselves to vigorous spiritual training in
preparation. If we expect to win the victory
race we have to be willing to pay the price.
God 's word tell us that as believers we may not
be "winners" by the worlds standard, but we
have been chosen for glory by God. Thank you
Lord Jesus that you love us so much that
you chose us for your glory. Lord let us
not forget, not for one second, that our greatest
victory is receiving God "s gift of salvation,
which has been won by Christ. Yes Praise
God we truly have " Victory in Jesus." Bless
