Rejection

The word to reject means to discard

something or someone as unwanted

or defected. To be rejected causes,

great pain to, in some cases a person

has a hard time getting over it.

rejection takes many forms. A

child is rejected by parents, husband

and wives reject one another, students

are rejected by their peers group. In

each case the consequences are

devastating, In most cases it takes

more than human strength to over

come rejection, but Praise God

there is hope for us though Jesus

Christ.

Isaiah 53:3

He was despised and rejected a man of sorrow,

acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our

backs on him and looked the other way when he

by. He was despised, and we did not care.

1st Peter 5:7

Give all your worries and cares to God, for

He cares about what happens to you.

John 14:26

When the Father sends the counselor as my

representative and by the counselor I mean

the Holy Spirit he will you teach everything

and will remind you of everything I myself

have told you.

Romans 8:38

And I am convinced that nothing can ever

Separate us from his love. Death can't, and

Life can't. The angels can't, and the demons

can't. Our fears for today, our worries about

tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't

keep God's love away.

The only way we can recover from rejection

In our lives is to look at Jesus. He was

rejected by the very people who were looking

for the coming of the Messiah, who came and

because he didn't fit the image they had in mind.

they rejected him, this is why we can be sure

we have a savior who understands. Jesus told us

to invite the Holy Spirit in our lives, because

he promised that the Holy Spirit would never leave us.

We have to always keep in mind that even though

others may reject us nothing can separate us

from God. I don't know about you but that

is reassuring to me.

John 4:10

Jesus replied, " If you only knew the gift

God has for you and who I am you

would not ask me, and I would give you

living water."

John 8:6-7

They kept trying to trap him in to saying

something they could use against him, but

Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust

with his finger. They kept demanding an

answer, so he stood up again and said "all

right, stone her. But let those who have

never sinned throw the first stones!" Then

Then he stooped down again and wrote in

the dirt.

John 6:37

However, the Father has given me will

Come to me, and I will never reject them.

I am sure that like me there have been

times in our walk with the Lord , that we

have done or said something that we shouldn't

have, and we begin to be afraid that we are going to

be reject by God, just as we know others would,

or at least the old devil makes us feel

that way. But the Word tells us Jesus said,

if we will look to him he will give us living

waters. The water that Jesus gives is what

washes away our sins and cleanses us from

inside and out, Praise God! We see here in the

Word , that Jesus did not condemn nor reject

the Samaritan woman, but rather offered her

living water. God rejects our sin, but never

us as sinners, if we will come to Him in faith,

believing that He will receive us in love. Don't

forget when we are rejected by others around

us, The Lord our God will never , never turn

us away. Isn't it wonderful to know that we are

so loved.

Lord we come to you at this time first of all

to thank you for your love and mercy toward

your children, Lord let us never forget that

you care, when we are hurt and rejected. Lord,

let us not forget, just like our human parents,

you grieve for us and with us. When we come

to you for comfort, you will wrap your

arms around us as our loving Father. Lord

let us not forget that you where not only rejected,

they hated you so much, they hung you upon a cross.

Lord God you are the Lamb of God, that

Was Slain, and you are the Rock of our Salvation

Amen & Amen !
