Sympathy

In order for us to be considered sympathetic,

we have to be people who will reach out in

compassion to one in need, and stand

beside that person to comfort and help them,

and allow God's love to flow though us from a

heart of sympathy, is like a refreshing cup of

water. When we are in need of sympathy, God will

sends a person our way to love, comfort

and lifts us up in prayer, to share this

brings healing to wounded spirits and

broken body's, and hearts. Isn't it

awesome to know that God will use us

to meet others needs in every situation ?

Not only will he do that for others, he will

Do it for us also. Praise God!

The question that come to us when we are

hurting ,lonely and in some cases feeling

abandoned and unloved is "does God care,

does he really sympathize with me is this time

of need?" Well He does because the Bible tells.

us He does. Let us take a look.

Psalms 103:13

The Lord is like a father to his children,

tender and compassionate to those who

fear him.

Luke 7:13

When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed

with compassion "Don't cry!" he said.

Hebrews 4:15

This high Priest of ours understands our

weaknesses, for he faced all of the same

temptations we do, yet he did not sin.

JOHN11:35

Then Jesus wept.

When we, as God's children can get a hold of the

fact that "Yes" He cares for us, even if you were the

only one on earth He would still care

and have sympathy for our needs. There is no

trouble that comes our way that the watchful

eye of our heavenly father is not aware of and

sympathizes with us . When we can begin to

realize this, then healing can begin. No matter

the cause and our need , His compassion is

tender toward us.

1st.Peter3:8

Finally, all of you should be of one mind,

full of sympathy toward each other,

loving one another with tender hearts and

humble minds.

We see here that God expects us as his people

to be sympathetic and tenderhearted toward

each other, that is the mark of being Christlike.

Jesus is our example on how we are to treat

others and he has nothing but sympathy for the

the ones that are hurting ,lonely and in need

for whatever reason. God does have conditions

for showing us love and sympathy.

Hebrews 10:33

Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule

and were beaten, and sometimes you helped

others who were suffering the same things.

2nd. Corinthians 1:4

He comforts us in all our troubles so that

so that we can comfort others.

When others are troubled, we will be

able to give them the same comfort God

has given us.

In order for us to be able to show sympathy

to others, we must realize, that it is the

mark of a Christian and to be like

Jesus is what is required of us. If we lack

the ability show sympathy, first we have to

desire it, and than ask. The Word tells us if

we lack anything, ask and it will be give, then

we apply that which God has given us by showing

sympathy, and sharing words of encouragement.

We will find that it may not come naturally or

easy at first but as we are obedient to God's Word

We will find that after a time it is part of us

And our hearts reach out to others with ease.

That my friend is Jesus' love overflowing in our

hearts. Praise God he is faithful to give us what

we need to reach out to others with sympathy.

Father God, I come to you in humble adoration.

Father, your Word is forever established. Father, we

thank you that when everything in this world

is always shifting like sand, you are the one

person that we can count on, to always be there.

Father, thank you that you tell us that if we

will ask, it will be given, that we have not,

because we ask not. Father, I ask you now

in Jesus name that we as you children,

who have been redeemed by the blood of

your son Jesus, will desire to flow with symphony

and love toward the broken and hurting

people, even those who have not been redeemed.

For how else will they see Jesus but though us.

Father, help us as Christians not to shoot our

wounded soldiers, help us not to kick them

when they are down, but to reach down an

help them up and wrap our arms around

them as you did us, let us not forget where we

came from. Father, help us to reach out to

those that the world has thrown away as

of no use to anyone, "OH God let not be

as the world. "

Amen & Amen.
