Under The Fathers Wings
Trust

Have you pondered in your mind, as I
have where our trust has gone? We
have become a nation of cynicism and
mistrust. There was a time in our nation,
and our lives, that trust was not a question.
There was a time when a handshake to
seal a Contract or a Bargain, was enough,
there was no need of attorneys to draw
up contracts and ect.. It seem that there
is no trust anywhere anymore, husbands
and wives have lost trust for one another,
our children has lost trust in there elders
and vise versa. We don't trust our police,
our government, our neighbors, and sad to
say, trust has even been lost, in some
degree in the ministers of the gospel.
Trust is like a butterfly, trust grows in
stages and if trust is damaged or destroyed
before it emerges in full, it will wither
and die just as the larva of a butterfly
if it is damaged before it's time. I
will summit to you that when God
was taken out of our government , our
schools, and the gospel became watered
down in our churches, we began to lose
our ability to trust. The Bible teaches
that we can trust only, by believing in
God, and believing that His word is true.
True. Trust begins and ends with God.
Unless our faith is placed in God, we
will be lacking in trust. If we don't or
can't trust in God, how can we trust
in one another? We as a nation, have
to get back to old fashion morals. We
have to believe His word is true. By
obeying His will and depend on Christ
and Christ alone. Lets us look at
God's word and what he has to say
regarding trust.

Psalm 33:21
In him, hearts rejoice, for we are
Trusting in his holy name.

We have to recognizes that God is trustworthy
And is to be trusted above all else. We
have to know beyond any doubt that
God loves us as we are, and will never let
us down, that he can be trusted, and relied
on at all time, not just some of the time.

Genesis 6:5
Now the Lord observed the extent of the
people's wickedness, and he saw that all
their thoughts were consistently and totally
evil. So the Lord was sorry that he had
made them. It broke his heart.

We see in Noah the ultimate in trust.
He loved and trusted God, long before
He was put to the test. We see here
that God's heart was broken because
of the evil that had come upon the
earth, but he knew there was one man
that he could trust "Noah". He told
Noah that he was going to destroy
the earth with a flood, and he told
Noah to build a boat. Okay! For
One thing it had never rained in
those day's, so Noah had no idea
what God was talking about, but
because Noah trusted God he did
what he was told. It took Noah
one hundred and twenty years to
build the ark, and all the time the
people mocked and tormented him,
he and his family, and that my friend
is faith and trust. Yet Noah never
doubted and did everything exactly
that God commanded. We also see
here that his wife and children
trusted Noah completely, and was
obedient, never doubting that he was
guided by God. This could only happen
because he had set the example of
trusting and being trustworthy
himself.

Psalm 125:1
Those who trust in the Lord are secure
as mount Zion; they will not be defeated
but will endure forever

Having trust in the Lord is not a
one time thing, we have to learn to
trust Him in every situation. This kind
of trust does not come overnight nor is
this going to always be easy. This kind
of trust is choosing to trust God even
when it seem impossible. This is when
we can feel secure and know that we
are on a firm foundation. Then
and only then can we truly trust
God's word and have true peace in
our hearts and lives. All the above is
why we have to trust, for our own sakes
put our trust without wavering
in the Lord our God.
Ezekiel 16:15
But you thought you could get along
without me, so you trusted instead in
your fame and beauty. You gave yourself
as a prostitute to every man who came
along. Your beauty was there for the
asking.
We see here that as a nation or a
People, when they begin to trust in their selves
and place their trust in anything or in anyone,
other than God they had prostituted their
selves. This is where we find ourselves
in today's society.
Isn't it sad because of our own
actions, we find ourselves unable
to trust. When we decided that
we didn't need God, and that God
and morals are just for the weak.
When we took prayer out of our
schools and begin to teach our children
that there is no right or wrong, that
everything is to be judged by situation
etches, that is when we as a nation
begin to loose our reverence and
trust for God, and therefore we lost
our trust for one another how do
we expect our children trust, when
they see we show no respect
for God or others. But Praise God
we have hope, and our hope is in
The Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 20:7-8
Some nations boast of their armies
and weapons, but we boast in the
Lord our God. Those nations will
Fall down and collapse, but we
will rise up and stand firm.

God's word tell us that when we place
our trust in Him no matter what comes
our way he will bring us though. If we
can't trust in God, how can we as
a people on a whole be trusted
or trust? We tell our children to
trust us yet we for what ever reason
prove ourselves to be untrustworthy.
If we want our children's trust we
have to set the example, we have
to teach them, that we have placed our
trust in God and his word, and prove
it to them in our everyday life, then
when they are tested they to will know
how to stand and trust in God. God
said we were to be the example and
love and teach our children the way
they should go, Teach them that God
bring peace, joy, and that he always
keeps his promises.

Father forgive us Lord that we have
lost our ability to trust. Help us
to become a people and a nation
that will begin to look to you and
trust in you to put you back in our
lives. Help us to be able to repent
and humble ourselves before you.
Help us to see Lord that we have
crippled our children in their ability
to trust in you. We have taught them
to trust in things rather than in you and
your word Lord. Oh! Father you
are the "Rock of our Salvation, You
are the Lord of Lord, the King of
King the Alpha and Omega. Your word
Is established Forever." Let our
trust and faith arise within us Lord.
In Jesus name Amen.
