Under The Fathers Wings

Have you ever been among people, that speaks a

different language and couldn't understand a

word they were speaking or have an appliance

that were broken and you didn't have the foggiest

idea how it worked or understood how to fix it?

We find out real quick that there is a big

difference in hearing words and understanding

what is being said or, to turn an appliance on

and understanding how it work or how to fix it.

In order to understand something or someone

we have to have a personal and intimate

knowledge in order to have an understanding.

The Bible emphasizes that not only can we have

spiritual truth as facts and doctrine, but we

can come to understanding a intimate and

personal knowledge of Christ, which leads

to transformed lives. We are going to look in

God's word to see what He has to say about

understanding, because without being able

I am sure that we have all at one time

or an other, have sat down to study the

word of God, and after awhile realize

that we haven't understood a thing that

we had read. God tell us that the first

step to understanding is to know

without a doubt that God knows us, He

know how to teach us on a one on one

bases. We have to depend on God, and

God alone to open our minds to

understand His truth. The key to

studying the Bible, which is God's

word is to pray for understanding and

God will honor our prayers. We will find that

understanding and wisdom comes when we

are relentless in our pursuit of truth

and study His word diligently everyday.

God promises us that he will give us

understanding and God never goes

back on His promises, Praise God! We

can depend on His word.

We can ask ourselves "how can we know

when our understanding of the

scriptures are right?" The Bible tells us

that our understanding is right on when

the truth begins to bear fruit in our lives.

We have to realize that a true understanding

of the gospel leads to a transformed living.

This is something in today's world that we

have to come to grips with, we can not be

a witness of God ability of transforming

lives if we don't first understand the word,

and second have not allowed our lives to be

transformed in the image of God. When

witnessing to others we had better know

and understand what we are talking about

because I can tell you "old slew foot" the

devil knows the word of God and he will

makes fool of us. So I beseech every one to

study and allow God to give you

understanding.

Dear Lord Jesus help us to desire to

study your word and to pray for the

understanding. Help us realize that

in order to grow in grace and have

lives that is pleasing to you we have

to study to show ourselves approved

Lord you said if we lack anything all

we had to do is ask, according to your

word and we would receive. So Lord I

am asking that all who are reading this

will receive understanding and wisdom

from you word. I ask this in the precious

name of Jesus.
