Under The Fathers Wings

There have been times in everyone's life

When we said no more, I can't take

anymore. We feel like a boxer who has

been pushed in to the ropes and yet

his opponent keep on beating him.

We become like the boxer, we want to quit.

When our families, our job or other difficult

circumstances arise ,and we have been smacked

around to many time , we want to cry out

"No more please". The Bible recognizes

that life is difficult and at times is

overwhelming. Faith does not prevent

hardships from coming our way, but it

does offer resources, encouragement and

hope to help us persevere when we feel

like quitting.

Often we ask ourselves how in the

World can I keep going on, every

thing and everybody seem to be against

me? This is the time we need to keep

our eyes on our goal, that God has called

each one of us to do. We have to

have the same resolve Nehemiah

had, when we are faced with

overwhelming odds we can't afford to

take are eyes off the goal or we will

be beat up by our enemies not only

will we give we will quit ,and guess

who ends up getting blamed for us

quitting "God"

Have you ever wondered like I have

How Paul could keep on going

on with out quitting with all the

adversity he went through . we know

by reading the word of God that we

have never and it is very doubtful

that we will ever face the unimaginable

hardship that Paul did ,yet he never

quit ,but he finished the race for Christ

Jesus. If we as Christians don't

keep our eyes on the prize we will not

have the strength to go on to win the

race.

I don't know about any of you but every time

I have thought I can't go all I begin to

to remind myself without Jesus in my life

nothing is worth while and the word tells us

that even in the mist of suffering, believers

can find strength to endure for Christ.

Like Paul we can say we may get

knocked down but we won't stay .Praise

God! !

We all know who have been a good

fight, we get tired, satan know

this so he keeps coming at us. He uses

anything and anyone to get us to give

up and quit ,get so discouraged and

we won't finish the race . the only

way that we can avoid being so

discouraged that we begin to question

if the Christian life is what it is

cracked up to be is to keep our eyes

on the goal and our reward in heaven

if we do that we can say like Paul

I have not only fought a good fight,

I have finished the race and I have

remained faithful. God promises us

those who endure to the end shall be

saved.

Dear Lord Jesus I think you for

Your word. Lord thank you that you

Not only tell us that you can make it

You gave us the road map on how

we go about making it and not

quitting before our goal has been

obtained. Lord thank you for providing

the strength and encouragement to us

Thank you Lord that you are there

And you are no farther than a whisper
